During Virtual CRS, campers from around the world engage with each other in conversations about world issues, teach each other, and come together to make projects happen! We will be sharing a few of the projects made during the second session of Virtual CRS 2021 for you all to watch and enjoy!

A group of campers created an in-depth video essay that analyzes the film "Legally Blonde" through a feminist lens. Get ready for your perspective on this movie to completely change!

Their analysis shows how the film's protagonist, Elle Woods, stays true to herself amidst the pressure to give into societal expectations of how women should look and act. Our campers claim: "...it is an example of a woman refusing to sacrifice her femininity in acquiescence to patriarchal standards." We love that the young people in our program are thinking critically and forming interesting thoughts and opinions about the things they experience in the world.
