Get Involved: Join the CRS College Student Network as a Mentee or Mentor

We will be welcoming our second cohort of CRS College Student Network mentees and mentors in September/October 2022.

The College Student Network (CSN) connects high school students (from any country) with college students or recent graduates who can guide them through the steps to successfully apply to college (in any country).

Please contact Milyza Flores at milyzaf@gmail.com for more information about the upcoming cohort.

Program basics:
- Depending on the mentee's needs, we envision the formal mentoring relationship to last anywhere between 6 and 18 months.
- All training and materials will be provided!
- We will pair mentees and mentors but this will be a collective space for learning and sharing. We hope that the whole cohort can meet monthly (or somewhat regularly) to share their concerns and hopes, have guest speakers, and workshops, etc.

Who can be a mentor?
We will prioritize people who have at least completed two years of undergraduate studies to be mentors. However, if you just got into college and are familiar with the application process, and are eager to help, we'd love to have you too.

Who can be a mentee?
We will prioritize first-generation students (those whose parents have not gone to or completed university) and/or low-income students. If you are neither but think this program could make a difference to you, please register and we will try our best to match you.
