Pacific Rim International Camp

The Pacific Rim International Student Camp (PRIC) is a non-profit organization that promotes the spirits of Friendship, Leadership & Fellowship and aims to deepen cultural appreciation and international understanding among youth from the Pacific rim region through living together at the educational camp program.  PRIC operates a summer program in Japan to support this purpose.

The camp is supported by corporate and individual contributions and is composed of NPO Pacific Rim International Student Campers and its volunteer staff. Together they create an ideal summer outing and educational experience for high school aged campers from eleven countries and one region around the Pacific Ocean: Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and the United States of America.

The Louis August Jonas Foundation and Camp Rising Sun have had a long-standing relationship with PRIC. To assist the PRIC program, LAJF will again be nominating a camper and staff representative from the United States to attend this year’s PRIC program.
