Read this statement from Ling Hai about his experience with Camp Rising Sun:
“Camp Rising Sun was a significant experience in my life that, together with many other events and experiences, helped shape who I am today. It was truly the beginning of multiple personal journeys — journeys of exploration, leadership, and global citizenship, to name a few. My camp experience gave me the lens that humanity has more in common despite our many differences. It allowed me to develop the confidence to embrace and not to fear differences. It benefited me early on with the lesson of diversity and inclusion in a high-performing team.
I am extremely grateful for my Camp Rising Sun experience. I feel very excited to be on the board because this is the best way for me to pay forward the benefits that I received from CRS. My key objective will be to ensure long-term sustainability of this wonderful organization so that generations of young people can continue to benefit from the tremendous experience that CRS offers.”
