During Virtual Camp Rising Sun, campers from around the world engage with each other in conversations about world issues, teach each other, and come together to make projects happen!

We will be sharing a few of the projects made during the second session of Virtual CRS 2021 for you all to watch and enjoy!

The Languages Project was proposed by some of our campers who wanted to spend time learning and teaching each other about languages. CRS is centered around the idea of cross-cultural exchange, and language is an essential piece of this, as our participants come from many different countries and speak various languages. Language is how we communicate our views and opinions and it can also shape how we experience the world. Instead of viewing language differences as a barrier, we can take the time to understand, appreciate, and learn the languages spoken around the globe. This project was a wonderful way for campers to share an important part of themselves with their peers and to create a deeper connection within the group.
