2021 Board of Directors Retreat at Camp Rising Sun

This past weekend we hosted our first in-person board retreat in two years! It was invigorating to have everyone all in one place, joining us from near and far. It shows the commitment and dedication that our board members have to our work and mission.

Our board members gathered on campus at Camp Rising Sun, with a few joining virtually. Along with members of our staff, the board discussed programming, fundraising and organizational finance, and ideas and goals around our exciting new five-year strategic plan.

In addition to all of the productive conversations and work, the board also had a chance to revisit both our Clinton and Red Hook campuses, seeing new updates and visualizing future plans for both facilities.

Our Board of Directors is 19 people strong — and their hard work ensures that our program runs smoothly, efficiently, and will be sustained for years to come. All of our current board members are also CRS alumni themselves and therefore have a deep personal connection to what we do.
