Below is the January message from our LAJF Executive director, Helene Mattera:
Dear Friends,
As we begin a new year, I want to take a moment to acknowledge the tremendous support that you have shown us and how you are helping us to have a strong start to 2022. Over the past few weeks, we have been fortunate to raise over $110,000 for our programs because of your generous gifts! Your generosity is setting us up for success to achieve the goals we have laid out for the next year and beyond.
We are excited to continue to strengthen our educational programs, expand the number of program participants we can reach, support young people in their development of life-long leadership skills, and to connect youth from all around the world — all with your help.
A new year always brings with it many exciting changes and opportunities. I am personally looking forward to our Summer 2022 Camp Rising Sun season, as it is the first time we will be simultaneously hosting our virtual programs alongside in-person programming.
